About this print

The plate depicts four distinct species from the East Indies, combining natural history with partly fantastical elements. Watercolour fills the hand-engraved lines of the patterned specimens, published in Amsterdam in 1719 for one of the earliest colour books on fish.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
