About this print

Sharp graphic angles contrast with organic floral motifs across the geometric composition. Solid dark planes intersect the detailed line work of the background. The woodcut originally appeared in “Shin Bijutsukai” (“New Art World”), a Kyoto design magazine published between 1901 and 1902.
